About the event
The average radius of the Earth is 3,959 miles. We are rounding-up the 3.95 to run the virtual Run the World 4-Miler on Earth Day, April 22. Join us and runners around the world to help benefit The Nature Conservancy. As always, 100% of your registration fee will be donated! Who runs the world? RUNNERS!
The Nature Conservancy is a nonprofit organization that works hard to conserve the lands and waters on which life depends. "A leading conservation organization in the United States and around the world, The Nature Conservancy works with public and private partners to ensure our lands and waters are protected for future generations."
Thank you to our sponsors for discount codes and giveaways for our runners!
We are using the free app, May My Run, if you'd like to join our race-day challenge. In order for us to track your miles for giveaways, you will be required to create an account with the free app MapMyRun. Once you create your account, go to "friends", and then "find". Search the name "moremilesmorefun" and add us as your friend. We will invite you to the challenge and you can start logging your miles.
You will have the option of logging your miles in 3 ways:
1) Sync your GPS device to the app
2) Use the app on your phone as a GPS device during a run
3) Log miles by manually imputing data into the app or website
